Football Friday

Master: Coach Seiler
Disciples: Hassan, Nolan, Ethan, and Corey
(1:1) Coach Seiler: it's halftime, ladies!! greatness steps up with the game on the line....remember Reed from last year...I can't say that he was truly great, but he did play with passion.
Nolan: I'm no Reed, coach and your playbook is crap!!!
Coach Seiler: The truly wise look within themselves before blaming someone other than themselves.
(1:2) Hassan: Should we run the draw play or stick with our screen running game.
Coach Seiler: Do what your heart desires. A true heart sprinkled with wisdom will make the right decision.
Hassan: but you call the plays?........
Coach Seiler: but you call your life everyday...why should this be any different?
(1:3) Corey: What do you think about Ethan....is he truly virtuous?
Coach Seiler: If you ask him the same question and he answers "Yes," then my answer is "No."
(1:4) Ethan: Coach, I feel that my game is complete and I can make it to the next level. I have nothing more to learn.
Coach Seiler: Learning is the key to success. I continue to learn to this day.
(1:5) Coach Seiler: A couple of years ago, we won the game and Boomer gave me the game ball. I cannot say if he was truly virtuous, but Boomer did respect his elders.
Nolan: Do you want the game ball, coach?
Coach Seiler: A truly virtuous person would know what to do.
(1:6) Hassan: The game clock is running, coach......should we go for it or kick the field goal for OT.
Coach Seiler: Passion without wisdom is stupidity.
Hassan: Is that all u have to say, coach.
Coach Seiler: Let your mind and your emotions be on the same page, ladies!!!
(1:7) Ethan: Let's go for it!!!! Touchdown, Nolan.....we gotta go for it!!!
Nolan: I want the ball!!!!
Coach Seiler: Winners always do. (quote from THE REPLACEMENTS)
(1:8) Hassan: We fell about 20 yards short.....whose play call was that
Nolan: Ethan's
Ethan: Not entirely
Coach Seiler: Be a man, ethan.....character is developed through passivity, but revealed through activity.
(1:9) Ethan: Avey pooched the snap, coach!!!!
Coach Seiler: Jack looked for faults in others.....Boomer looked within himself.
(1:10) Nolan: What makes a great football player, coach?
Coach Seiler: confidence without cockiness, skills without bills, and the ability to work without being a jerk.

Great! You even have a quote from a source of what might be considered by some as "enobling culture" (The Replacements).
